Position Overview
Join as an Addiction Therapist - LCAC at Rosecrance Behavioral Health
. We lead behavioral health services for over a century, empowering individuals and families to overcome substance use and mental health challenges through compassionate care and evidence‑based therapies.
Participate as a team member in the delivery of substance‑use disorder services to clients and their families. Facilitate recovery issues into client’s daily living situations and provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or related field.
- Licensed in Indiana as an LCAC (Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport.
- Computer proficiency required; ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames.
- Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling.
- Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources.
- Self‑starter with ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements (community based positions).
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.
- Work hours prescribed by leadership and any additional hours deemed necessary for responsibilities assigned.
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and family members.
- Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within required time frame.
- Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs.
- Educate client and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
- Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
- Ensure documentation in client service record is maintained consistent with expectations defined by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain communication with all staff (e.g., admissions, case management and discharge plans).
- Assume on‑call responsibilities per schedule or when designated.
- Present workshops, lectures, and training to clients, families, staff, and community groups.
- Be familiar with court proceedings and available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients.
- Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and applicable law.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers, demonstrating positive guest relations.
- Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned by management.

Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm - Shift: 1st

Compensation & Rewards- Starting pay based on education, experience, and credentials.
- LCAC starting at $74,401.60 with increases based on experience.
- Shift differentials: second shift +$1 / hr; third shift +$2 / hr.
- Incentives:
$0.50 / hr with CADC certification; financial incentive for hours exceeding the predetermined standard each month.
