Adjunct Instructor Reading (Pool0)

Position at Tennessee Board of Regents (T ) – Dyersburg State Community College. The instructor will teach reading courses in day, evening, and online classes at Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, and other off‑campus centers.

Reports to the Chair of Language, Arts & First Year Experience and the Dean of Arts, Sciences, & Technologies.

• Teach assigned reading courses at Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, and off‑campus centers.
• Prepare course materials, evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
• Use eLearn course management system for all classes.
• Attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to established deadlines.
• Communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to assigned chair/dean.

• Sedentary desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities.
• Standard office settings; minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Reading.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel.
