Adjunct Instructor Mathematics; Pool

The Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for adjunct instructors in mathematics for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, and other off-campus centers. The appointment is a pool; initial assignment may be at any teaching location and may change each semester.

• Teach assigned mathematics courses in Dyersburg, Covington, and/or Paris.
• Prepare course materials and develop instructional content.
• Evaluate student learning, maintain accurate class records, and submit required reports on time.
• Attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades before the established deadline.
• Communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes to the assigned chair or dean.

• Predominantly sedentary desk work with occasional travel for college or program activities.
• Standard office setting with minimal hazard or exposure.
• Must be able to maintain health and comfort in office environment.

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and college personnel.
