Reading Adjunct Instructors (day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or off‑campus centers). Initial assignment may be at one location, but workstation may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use eLearn for all classes. Applicants will attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to deadlines, and communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their chair/dean.
This position reports to the Chair of Language, Arts & First Year Experience and the Dean of Arts, Sciences & Technologies.
- Teach assigned courses for the discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
- Desk work (sedentary). Occasional travel may be required for college or program activities.
- Minimal exposure; standard office settings.
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Reading.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel.
