Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, supply of material to production lines, shipping and receiving materials and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance to company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unloads goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.
- Separates customer orders. Pulls and stages orders. Repacks material if required to meet customer specifications.
- Ensures all products are properly labeled.
- May perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.
- May participate in cycle counting. Enters and verifies information.
- Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Drives fork lifts and or track mobiles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Following qualifications are required for this job:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fork Lift Operators License
- Previous warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience
- Previous computer and/or data entry
Conditions: Work in plant floor environment. Temperature conditions can vary significantly. Work 8 hour shifts. Must stand/walk most of the work time and/or sit/drive fork lift. Job duties range from manual labor, to troubleshooting, and use of computerized equipment. Use of heavy motorized equipment including but not limited to fork trucks and/or track mobile.
