Overview

This position will use their skillset to ship produced Pad, Pole, or 3

Phase transformers while considering the values and goals of ERMCO.

Responsibilities

• Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding verifying and documenting outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.
• Ensure safe and proper operation of tools and equipment.
• Safely operate motorized lift equipment.
• Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers.
• Ensure conformity of ALL outbound shipments and various shipping documents to ERMCO standards.
• Follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Use iPad, computer, and/or other electronic communication devices.
• Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration.
• Use good organizational skills and show attention to detail.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole units of measure.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials.
• Use hand scanners and radio devices.
• Operate various types of motorized fork trucks.
• Must be able to lift, push/pull 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking is necessary.
• Frequent sitting, stooping, reaching, or climbing.
• 20/40 vision is required with or without corrective lenses, as well as normal peripheral vision (no less than 70%), depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE including safety-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
