Tax Verification Associate

This is a key role with the primary responsibility for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns.

• Responsible for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns
• Utilize an in-house software called 1040
  
  SCAN that utilizes a new technology called Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and verify efficiency of the software's operations
• Constantly focusing on details and accuracy of the software's functionality to successfully prepare tax documents for clients
• Help maximize efficiency in the 1040
  
  SCAN software to facilitate paperless tax workflow for clients
• Input any missing information into the software by looking into the company database for comparison.

• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Must be able to type 50wpm
• Must be comfortable sitting in a chair for multiple hours in a row

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $22/hr USD.
