Tax Senior – Public Accounting Firm

A well-established public accounting firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. This firm provides high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and businesses across various industries.

Position Overview

As a Tax Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax services, including preparation, planning, and advisory, to a diverse client base. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking to advance their careers in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize client liabilities.
  • Provide proactive advice on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification or in progress.
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software; experience with Quick Books is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
