Join to apply for the Board Operator role at Salem Media Group (Minneapolis). Salem Media Group Minneapolis has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Board Operator for our four-station cluster.

• Deliver live on‑air weather updates with confidence.
• Record voice overs for other programming and commercials.
• Operate and engineer the live broadcast boards, keeping shows smooth and professional.
• Execute station formats to keep our listeners engaged.
• Maintain accurate program logs, edit live spots, and handle various production and commercial audio tasks.
• Operate the board for live sports broadcasts.

• Flexible
  
  Schedule:
  
  ~10–15 hours per week, 2–3 days a week — suitable for students, creatives, retirees, or anyone who loves radio.
• Hands-On
  
  Experience:
  
  Work with live board engineering and voice tracking to develop on‑air skills.
• Production Opportunities:
  Additional opportunities for production work and audio editing while learning from seasoned radio pros.

• Strong experience with Windows-based computer systems.
• Experience and interest in mixing audio and being creative with on‑air content.
• College education preferred but not required — passion and skill matter most.
• Flexibility for some weekend and evening shifts.
• Proven reliability, attention to detail, and punctuality.

• A tech‑savvy audio enthusiast who thrives under pressure.
• A dependable, detail‑oriented self‑starter who loves teamwork.
