The House Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel. Responsibilities might include (as dictated by hotel vertical): deep cleaning of assigned areas, setting-up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and nightly concierge events, cleaning and setting-up meeting room functions, delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk, and driving shuttle van when needed (property specific).
ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Valid driver license for the applicable State and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (property specific).
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work well under stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Clean and buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
- Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
- Clean public restrooms and ensure regular maintenance.
- Handle luggage assistance requests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, associates, and self.
- Manage items for "Lost and Found" according to standards.
- Return all keys and assignment sheets at end of shift.
- Complete daily assignment checklist and submit to supervisor.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
