Business Systems Analyst - Hybrid Position

10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 6‑month contract role with our insurance client in Eagan, MN. This role will be hybrid working, 2 days in the office.

Compensation: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.

• Build/stand up an Interoperability capability to meet a CMS mandate: digital/automated exchange between payers, providers, and patients (includes prior authorization, provider-to-provider integration, and patient access).
• Work is primarily backend integrations/APIs (not front‑end/portal UI).
• Target:
  Initial production by 11/27/2026.
• Platform/tech direction:
  • Java‑heavy backend (approx. 60‑70% Java)
  • Some JavaScript / Type Script (supporting services/tools, not UI)
  • AWS is the primary cloud (some Azure exists, but not primary)
  • FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is highly preferred

The BSA will focus on API data mapping and requirements decomposition for a healthcare interoperability program. This role ensures developers receive clear, complete requirements by translating business and regulatory needs into actionable technical stories.

• Perform source-to-target data mapping for APIs and FHIR resources
• Document detailed requirements in Jira user stories
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and developers to refine designs
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate business outcomes
• Work directly with business stakeholders to confirm functional expectations

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and data mapping
• Familiarity with API‑based integrations
• Experience working across the full SDLC, including UAT
• Agile/Scrum team experience
• Excellent documentation skills

• FHIR knowledge or hands‑on experience
• Healthcare domain experience (payer or provider)
• Prior experience supporting regulatory‑driven initiatives

• Onshore strongly preferred
• Hybrid (2‑3 days onsite) with some flexibility
