We have an urgent role of Sharepoint Developer.

Sharepoint – 2 roles - same deal must be able to be onsite in Eagan MN.

Looking for an experienced SharePoint Online Contractor to design, implement, and optimize modern SharePoint solutions for the different internal departments, which may involve migration of documents from an on-prem SharePoint site or various file folders. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful adoption and integration across the organization.

• Architect and Design SharePoint Sites:
  Develop hub sites, site structures, permissions, and navigation aligned with governance standards.
• Metadata and Content Type Modeling:
  Define metadata, content types, and managed metadata for document libraries; collaborate with users to establish taxonomy.
• Drive Metadata Adoption:
  Educate and guide users transitioning from folder-based organization to metadata-driven approaches.
• Automation and Customization:
  Build workflows and apps using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline business processes.
• Migration Expertise:
  Plan and execute migrations from on-premises or file shares to SharePoint Online, ensuring metadata mapping and validation.
• Microsoft 365 Integration:
  Ensure seamless integration with Teams and One Drive, maintaining file lifecycle and permissions alignment.
• Requirements Gathering:
  Facilitate sessions with non-technical users, translating business needs into SharePoint features.
• Change Management and Adoption:
  Implement strategies for user adoption, including communication plans, training, and champion networks.
• Documentation:
  Produce clear, structured documentation and visuals for site designs and workflows.
