Your RoleAs a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
- Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across three offices
- Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office-related growth objectives
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
- Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
- Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns
- Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching
- Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management across offices
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of required tax training
- People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
- Ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth culture
- Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Proficient in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)

Pay Range
$15.00 - $40.00/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefits described above.
