Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0360) role at Target

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.25 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Communicate benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App (including Wallet) and how to use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Assist with returns following register prompts and partner with Leaders as needed to resolve guest needs
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and returns while complying with federal, state, and local laws
• Handle other duties based on business needs

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; physical requirements include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and environments, including Drive-Up and carryout duties
