The Assistant Manager of Kids Merchandising is a full-time, on-site role based in Eagan, MN. This role supports the planning and execution of merchandising strategies for the Kids category, focusing on product assortment, pricing, and in-store presentation to maximize sales and customer engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales and inventory data, partnering with cross-functional teams on product launches and seasonal collections, and ensuring that visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and customer needs.

The Assistant Manager collaborates closely with store leadership and merchandising partners to optimize floor sets, maintain stock levels, and respond quickly to trends and performance insights. This role also contributes to team training and communication, helping ensure that staff understands merchandising priorities and delivers an engaging shopping experience.

• Experience in retail merchandising or product management, preferably in apparel or kids’ categories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with sales, inventory, and trend data.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and ability to translate brand strategies into effective in-store presentations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners and store teams.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership capabilities, including coaching, influencing others, and contributing to an inclusive, team-oriented culture.
• Proficiency with basic business software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, retail systems).
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in merchandising, business, retail management, or a related field.
• Availability to work on-site in Eagan, MN, with flexibility for peak retail periods as needed.
