Business Development Representative

These positions will provide you with hands‑on experience sourcing and qualifying leads within our Tax & Legal businesses while building product knowledge and sales skills.

You will work with a market leader, partnering with a world‑class sales organization to prospect into a wide‑range of legal, corporate or government entities selling our industry‑recognized cloud solutions. The position offers a base salary and variable compensation that is directly related to your success. About

the Role
  • Hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance at 100% of your YTD goals
  • Actively engage in the coaching process, partnering well with managers and individuals on your teams to share ideas and learn from each other
  • Accurately, and in a timely manner, log all activities and customer contacts in Salesforce
  • Consistently live the Thomson Reuters culture and values
  • Remain effective under pressure, maintaining stable performance under time or job ambiguity and handling stress in a manner acceptable to others
  • Be tenacious, displaying determination, persistence and patience, and being resilient in the face of adversity

  • Be creative, actively partnering with your sales and marketing team members to consistently create new sales campaigns that generate highly qualified opportunities that convert to revenue
About You
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills (personable and professional)
  • Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner
  • Agile learner – ability to learn something new
  • Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer's workday
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate software programs such as Microsoft
  • Experience in CRM preferred
  • Motivated and competitive with a positive attitude
