We are seeking a Senior API Developer to support the Clinical Review Product Teams in advancing roadmap projects and assisting with the integration to the Capital Rx JUDI platform for claims adjudication. This role will focus on API development for Clinical Services, including PA Automation, legacy and new claims integrations, system upgrades, and compliance initiatives. The developer will work closely with the technical leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver business‑driven technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities- Design and develop robust APIs to meet business and operational objectives.
- Review, recommend, and implement design solutions in collaboration with team leads.
- Partner with the existing Tech Lead and provide support as needed based on product team demands.
- Engage proactively with the Product Team during sprint ceremonies and outside of scheduled meetings.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to achieve innovative and scalable technology solutions.
- Work with Product Owners and Analysts to ensure that user stories meet acceptance criteria and align with technical designs.
- Deliver completed, unit‑tested stories within two‑week sprint cycles.
- Partner with QA staff to support automated testing initiatives.
- Support efforts related to system upgrades, including Pega Infinity 24 and NCPDP ePA API updates.
- Contribute to the API integration efforts with Capital Rx JUDI platform.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Git Hub, Jenkins, and Groovy scripting.
- Familiarity with XSD, WSDL, and JSON Schema.
- Experience with API Management & Integration frameworks (preferably WSO2, but similar frameworks acceptable).
- Experience with healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or clinical services domains.
- Familiarity with WSO2 API Manager.
- Previous involvement in platform migration or legacy system sunset projects.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical team members.
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities and propose unbiased solutions.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward helping others and volunteering for additional work.
- Forward‑thinking and innovative approach to solution design.
