Meta is seeking a data center Facility Project Manager to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. The Facility Project Manager is accountable for the portfolio of physical infrastructure projects on an operational data center campus and for ensuring the global retrofit standard is properly implemented across the site portfolio. The portfolio includes projects in electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire / life safety systems.

You will coordinate project planning, execution, charters, work breakdown structures, and resource-loaded schedules, and prioritize work with cross-functional partners to support the retrofit portfolio at the site.

• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects at a multi-building data center site, including intake, prioritization, and coordination of retrofit project schedules with campus activities
• Coordinate cross-functional communication, delegating tactical communication to the retrofit team as needed
• Manage individual projects to support workload prioritization as the portfolio requires
• Use related tools and milestone schedules to sequence activities for all site retrofits
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure staffing models support retrofit portfolio needs
• Represent the site for programs, standards, and processes through the retrofit lifecycle
• Serve as the primary site point of contact during retrofit concept and design development
• Develop project charters, schedules, resource requirements, and work breakdown structures based on site portfolio needs
• Monitor risks and trends related to delivery and collaborate with Construction Project Managers to mitigate financial, schedule, safety, and quality risks
• Coordinate the project team including Project Controls, Safety, QA/QC, Scheduling, Engineering and other cross-functional partners for successful delivery
• Ensure execution of commissioning processes with QA/QC resources and commissioning agents as applicable
• Ensure turnover of all documents including drawings, owners manuals, and asset information
• Work with Sourcing Managers to develop vendor contracts as needed
• Occasional travel up to 10% of time

• Minimum 7+ years of project management experience in construction, operations, maintenance, and/or project planning in complex environments
• Familiarity with Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Fire & Life Safety Systems and applicable building codes
• Experience interpreting plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings
• Experience forecasting project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Strong cross-functional communication skills
• Experience with Project Management IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Pro Core, e-builder, etc.)

• Experience in critical environment projects
• Retrofit portfolio management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering or project management
• Proficiency with Maintenance Planning tools (e.g., Hexagon, SAP)
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
• Ability to communicate issues and successes with operations groups
• Experience working with sourcing and contract resources
