• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position

• Any previous comparable experience or equivalent pharmacy clerk experience
• Familiarity with EPRN
• Compliance with local, state and federal regulations, reporting all illegal activity
• Adherence to food safety, sanitation and safety regulations and reporting unsafe conditions to store management
• Understanding and performing ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
• Knowledge of computerized inventory management, control and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies
• Maintaining clean and organized workstations and customer waiting areas
• Accurate counting, measuring and preparation of specified products using company best practices
• Proper billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company
• Answering and triaging phone calls and inquiries appropriately
• Adhering to vendor coupon acceptance, cash shortage limits and company shrink guidelines
• Operating the cash register and handling electronic funds, EBT, gift cards and other transactions securely
• Providing a stellar customer experience while completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing accurately and efficiently
• Assisting the pharmacist in all non‑professional‑judgment responsibilities
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Supporting company health and wellness initiatives
• Putting away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries
• Working cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Managing conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
