The school has cultivated a supportive community with small classes, collaboration among students and teachers, and personalized education and post-graduation plans. Rockwell offers concurrent enrollment and advanced placement courses, career and technical education, inclusive support, and credit recovery to help students achieve their individual academic and career goals. Learn more about Rockwell Charter School at  to New School Leadership The school is currently seeking an Executive Director who will implement the board’s strategic plan in order to achieve the student outcomes envisioned by the school.

The board expects the new director to translate the strategic vision into actionable plans, communicate that vision to the school community, and galvanize stakeholders toward the realization of that vision. The Executive Director will report to the board on progress toward the plan’s goals, identify and manage risks, and support the board in making adjustments to that strategic vision and  recent months, Rockwell has experienced disruption related to the actions of one of its employees which has disheartened its leadership, teachers, and support staff, and has undermined the trust of the school community.

The board intends to hire an Executive Director who will make restoring the morale among employees and students, as well as the confidence of the community a priority. Therefore, in its search for a new Executive Director, the board will place high value on applicants with experience in communication, implementing and improving systems, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
