Title: Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products within a designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature while inside and outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 °F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing:
  Most tasks performed standing; surfaces include ceramic tile, linoleum.
• Walking:
  Short distances for short durations; travel between store, vehicle, and customers.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb (3 × 1.5 ft) unloading by hand truck; cases up to 72 in high.
• Carrying:
  Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (12 lb each), carrying pizzas and beverages during delivery.
• Pushing:
  Trays on dollies require force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing:
  Infrequent stairs or ladder; during delivery may navigate five or more flights of stairs.

• Stooping/Bending at pizza assembly station: forward bending at waist; repeated continuously during day.
• Crouching/Squatting: performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: above 72 in to turn on/off oven controls; below to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes.
• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within designated area; may make several deliveries per shift; deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, using pizza peel, rolling cutter.
• Machine/Tool use: pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, peel.
