Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests, team members and company assets.

Reports To

Shift Supervisor

Essential Functions
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
  • Protect tribal assets by observing and reporting unusual, dangerous or suspicious activities throughout KLECH property.
  • Patrol assigned areas, as needed, including but not limited to main entrances, the gaming floor, back of the house and parking areas; control access to restricted areas, check in vendors, provide traffic control, prevent entry of barred guests and other duties as required by business needs.
  • Respond to calls from dispatch and inquiries from team members and guests to address internal/external guest concerns, safety issues, emergencies, and medical situations.
  • Escort the transfer of money, chips, and table and slot machine drops.
  • Write reports of incidents that occur on KLECH property, investigate and document other important information as needed.
  • Maintain a direct line of communication with immediate supervisors and surveillance team.
  • Maintain integrity and possess basic desire to protect and serve.
  • Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
  • Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
  • Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti‑Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
  • Must pass Security assessment.
  • Level 1 security training, preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a security guard/officer, preferred.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal jurisdiction laws, preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other language skills a plus.
Other Criteria

Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to follow and comply with established Casino guest service programs.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.
  • The team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.
