Speech Language Pathologist (Part-Time) – District Wide – Role for the school year at Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9).
EPSD9 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a critical position within the district, shaping the future of our students by fostering a love for literature, critical thinking, and effective communication.

AboutThe Role
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our EPSD9 team. In this role, you will evaluate, design, and implement specialized instruction tailored to children with communication disorders. You will work closely with teachers, counselors, parents, and other professionals to deliver effective services that support student success in communication and language skills. Your work will involve developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing a continuum of communication services based on student needs, and contributing to multidisciplinary and IEP teams.
You’ll also offer consultation and training to staff and families, ensuring best practices in communication interventions.
- Evaluate, design, and implement specialized instruction for children with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other professionals to deliver effective services supporting student communication and language skills.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide a continuum of communication services based on student needs.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary and IEP teams and provide consultation and training to staff and families on best practices in communication interventions.
- Licensed and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist with a commitment to making a positive difference in students lives.
- Oregon Health Authority Board of Examiners Speech Pathology License or Oregon Teacher’s License with a Speech Impairment Endorsement.
- Organized with efficient time management and strong communication skills with staff, students, and the community.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and medical records and be able to travel between work sites as needed.
- Salary Range: $62,967 - $103,972. Salary placement depends on verified full-time experience and Master s level credits.
- Contract Days: 193/194 days per year; 3.75 hours per day.
- Benefits: includes 6% PERS retirement employee contribution paid by the District and tuition reimbursement available.
