Location
Open positions across various clinics in Southern Oregon (Primary Care and Specialty Care Clinics). Discussion of specific open positions and preferences during interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
- Act as liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure smooth patient experience.
- Perform front‑ and back‑office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information, and patient support.
- Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence’s mission of compassionate, high‑quality care.
- Manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of customer service related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of office experience, preferably in a medical office.
- Recent experience in the medical field.
- 6 months of electronic medical record experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a medical/healthcare setting.
- Prior experience providing high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- Electronic Medical Records experience (e.g. EPIC).
