Hardware Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet in-store customers and answer phone inquiries.
• Develop an understanding of products & their location to efficiently assist customers.
• Use computer system for sales, entering special orders, and other miscellaneous business activities.
• Work with customers to satisfy their needs, and address any issues or complaints.
• Accurately/thoroughly write rental contracts.
• Check in/out rental equipment.
• Maintain clean and open look on floor.
• Assist in resetting inventory as needed.
• Inspect returned rental equipment for damage, and report needed repairs to store manager.
• Test start rental equipment.
• Clean returned rental equipment.
• Help unload delivery trucks.
• Help with re-stocking merchandise on shelves.
• Attend scheduled meetings as requested.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

• Able to bend, stoop, walk, kneel, reach, stand for long periods, and occasionally lift, push, or pull 50lbs.
• Does not have any physical limitations that would prevent the accomplishment of the above-described activities.
