Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Eagle, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for accuracy and organization in financial processes. As part of a long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the company's accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately input invoices, payments, and vendor details into accounting systems while maintaining a high level of precision.

- Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation and address any discrepancies.

- Keep accounts payable records organized and up-to-date for easy access and auditing.

- Support weekly payment processes and assist with month-end financial closing activities.

- Verify and assign appropriate codes to invoices following established company policies.

- Utilize Caselle accounting software efficiently to manage accounts payable tasks.

- Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve payment-related issues promptly.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures in all transactions.

- Contribute to improving accounts payable workflows and identify areas for process optimization. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

- Proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and payment reconciliation.

- Strong familiarity with accounts payable procedures and practices.

- Experience using Caselle accounting software is highly preferred.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with vendors and internal teams.
