Instructional Assistant - Eagle, Colorado

Take on a meaningful role supporting middle school students with significant support needs in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is located near Eagle, CO, and offers the chance to make a real difference as a Paraprofessional.

The assignment is set to begin immediately, with the potential to continue through the end of May. Youll work closely with a small caseload of 5 students in grades 6-8, assisting within a classroom designed for significant support needs. The workweek is structured for 35 hours, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 am to 3:50 pm, and Wednesday from 9:40 am to 3:50 pm.

• Experience as a school paraprofessional preferred
• Ability to support students with special needs in both academic and behavioral settings
• Comfortable with middle school age groups (6th8th grade)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers and staff
• Adaptable and patient under the demands of a specialized classroom environment

• Provide direct assistance to students within the classroom
• Support the individual educational and behavioral needs of a small group
• Collaborate with lead teachers and related service personnel
• Facilitate student participation in classroom activities
• Help create an inclusive and positive atmosphere for learning
