Branch Driver

Job Summary

The Branch Driver delivers products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 5 AM – 3 PM, weekends off. This position offers a $1,500 sign‑on bonus and compensation ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour in Colorado.

What You'll Do
  • Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; complete a daily inspection report.
  • Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of needed repairs.
  • Follow DOT, local, and state driving laws and regulations.
  • Load or unload vehicle and verify all material for each order is correct and damage‑free.
  • Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation is completed upon delivery, including delivery receipt, packing list, and manifest.
  • Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting condition and verifying quantities.
  • Pick up material from company suppliers.
  • Senior Driver: participate in training entry‑level drivers and provide mentorship.
  • Support other warehouse duties, such as preparing and filling orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – What You'll Need
  • Attend company driver training (in lieu of experience).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass pre‑employment and annual motor vehicle record review.
  • Obtain non‑expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
  • No suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
  • No at‑fault accidents within the past 3 years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Handle loads up to 26,000 GVW.
  • Handle basic issues and problems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and applicable traffic laws.
  • Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Work overtime as needed.
