Job Description Summary

Manages the administration of IT technology investment and asset management. Key tasks include contributing to the annual operating plan, strategic portfolio investment forecasting, asset management procedures and reporting, capital planning, and ad‑hoc projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manages technology portfolio investment; evaluates optimal investment strategies and provides tracking to business partners.
  • Creates and manages enterprise-wide asset management systems and serves as liaison as it relates to the functions of this position.
  • Ensures corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing technology hardware and software investments.
  • Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of asset management processes for all technology assets.
  • Defines requirements for asset acquisition and procedures to include management and disposal strategies for the enterprise.
  • Responsible for technology investment budget preparation, coordinates with procurement on receipt of purchase orders, invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventory.
  • Delivers spending counsel for priority technology projects, monitoring performance and identifying options to achieve business targets.
  • Analyzes current technology spend processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Determines areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting required.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in spend analysis and asset management.
Skills
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into key recommendations.
  • Ability to present complex investment and asset data using detailed reports and charts to both internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrated successful interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong ability to think logically and analytically, problem‑solve, build consensus, and lead initiatives in an organized and efficient manner.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP/BPC or other multi‑dimensional database tools preferred.
  • Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Demonstrated ability to self‑motivate and work with limited oversight in a fast‑paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
