Overview
The Pet Sitter of Boise, LLC (TPS) is an established pet-sitting company that began in 2003. TPS currently serves clients in Boise, Meridian, Garden City, Eagle, Star, Kuna, and East Nampa 365 days a year. We provide premium pet care in the pets'/clients' homes while clients are on vacation or working long hours. TPS employees are passionate about pets and their care.
TPS supports non-profit animal rescue organizations in the communities it serves.
Job Summary
As a member of The Pet Sitter of Boise, LLC's team, you will care for pets in our clients homes while the humans are on vacation or working long hours. Depending on the pet and client instructions, care can include feeding, time outside, playtime, brushing, walking, administering medications, or other tasks. Most visits last 30 or 60 minutes per client preference.
Dog walks are 30 or 60 minutes in the client s neighborhood.
Pay is $16-$20/hour, +Tips

- Feed pets per client instructions; provide fresh water, clean up after pets, exercise or play with pets, walk dogs, administer medications, brush pets, water plants, collect mail, secure the home, and other general pet- and home-care tasks
- Communicate with clients using a specialized smartphone app; each visit you will send an update, pictures, and a summary of completed tasks
- Fulfill visits in the client s home with set durations (30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 2 hours); visits occur in the morning, midday, afternoon, evening, or late evening; teams may split coverage across sessions
- Work independently but as part of a team of pet sitters; aim to match sitters with clients in or near the area where the sitter lives
- Maintain availability during agreed-upon periods; schedules depend on clients pet-care needs

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- love all animals
- have and use a working smartphone with location services enabled and GPS/time tracking
- have experience caring for pets, either their own or others
- be able to restrain leashed dogs up to 80 pounds; walking dogs requires skills suitable for public spaces
- be able to walk on varied surfaces (concrete, asphalt, grass, gravel, dirt) in all weather
- be able to walk dogs for 2-4 hours during a work period
- be able to climb stairs as required by client homes
- be able to lift up to 50 pounds common in pet-care supplies
- possess a valid driver s license, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record
- sign a non-compete/non-solicitation agreement
