Receptionist/Administrator (Temp to Perm, Immediate Start)

The Role

We're looking for a Reception & Administrative Coordinator to be the welcoming face of the centre. You'll be the first point of contact for our community, managing a busy, fast-paced reception environment while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

The Details

Working hours:

* Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 11:00–19:30

* Thursdays: 11:00–17:30

* Saturdays: 8:30–16:30

Responsibilities

* Provide a professional reception service, welcoming parents and students with warmth and efficiency.

* Manage parent communications regarding attendance, account issues, and programme updates

* Handle student sign-in/sign-out procedures and manage parent pick-up coordination.

* Collect and process new student enrolment forms and provide clear programme explanations.

* Manage phone enquiries with a professional, helpful manner
- Support general administration duties and keep detailed records.

* Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
- Juggle multiple tasks and priorities, especially during busy periods

Candidate Specification

* Proven administrative experience in a customer-facing or support role.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own workload independently.

* Team player who also works well on own initiative.

* Flexible approach to working hours

* Grade B or equivalent in Maths and English GCSE (or international equivalent)

* A genuine, positive interest in children and their development
