Importantly, we're looking for someone who has had some office-based experience , whether through an internship, placement, graduate role, junior administration position or another role involving administration and coordination. Your experience could also have been gained through events or retail , provided you have had meaningful back-office responsibilities alongside your customer-facing work. This might include stock administration, order processing, reporting, updating systems, coordinating deliveries or general office administration.
A degree in Fashion, Textiles, Apparel, Fashion Business or a related subject would be ideal , although previous experience within the apparel industry is not essential. This is an opportunity to join a commercial apparel business and learn the industry from the ground up, working closely with an experienced Account Manager and gaining exposure to clients, suppliers, garments, production, orders and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities Supporting Account Managers with day-to-day client account activity Assisting with client enquiries by email and telephone Processing and coordinating client orders Managing spreadsheets, reports and account information Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records Coordinating garment production, embroidery and customisation Tracking orders, deliveries and shipment timelines Monitoring project deadlines and critical paths Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams Coordinating samples, stock and product requirements Following up on outstanding actions and deadlines Providing general account, administration and operational support About You We're looking for a recent graduate with around 6–12 months of practical work experience who is ready to take their next step.
Essential experience and skills Some previous office-based, administrative, coordination or operational experience Experience gained through an internship, placement, graduate/junior role or similar Alternatively, experience in events or retail with genuine back-office responsibilities Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Good written and verbal communication skills Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Professional, reliable and proactive approach Willingness to learn and develop Genuine interest in building a career within the apparel industry Ideally, you will also have A degree in Fashion, Textiles, Apparel, Fashion Business or a related subject Fashion, textiles or apparel experience through a placement or internship
Experience with in events involving administration and coordination Retail experience involving stock, orders, reporting or other back-office activity An interest in products, garments and the wider apparel industry Previous apparel industry experience is not essential. What is important is that you have already gained practical experience in a professional working environment and are comfortable with the administration and coordination that comes with an office-based role.
