Quantity Surveyor – Refurbishment & Internal Works

Salary: £40,000 – £75,000 DOE

Our client is a growing refurbishment and internal works contractor delivering residential and mixed-use schemes across London, typically Centeral or West London.. Projects typically involve strip-out, structural alterations, full internal refurbishment and high-quality finish packages.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor who can price projects at tender stage and take full commercial ownership through to completion.

This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone who can operate in a QS / Estimator capacity and manage the lifecycle of a project from initial enquiry to final account.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

• Measuring and pricing refurbishment and internal work packages

• Preparing cost plans and detailed estimates

• Subcontractor procurement and package management

• Managing valuations, variations and final accounts

• Monitoring live project costs and maintaining margin

• Working closely with site teams and directors

• Taking full commercial responsibility for schemes

The successful candidate will have experience within refurbishment, fit-out or internal construction projects and be confident pricing works independently.

This opportunity is open to:

• Candidates with 2–3 years’ experience who demonstrate strong commercial awareness and drive

• Experienced Quantity Surveyors with 5+ years’ experience capable of running projects autonomously

The salary range reflects the flexibility of the hire and will depend on experience and capability.
