Senior Air Import Coordinator

Location: Perivale

A major UK & International Freight Forwarding organisation are experiencing major growth and are looking to add a Senior Air Import Coordinator to their team.

This vacancy is for a senior air import clerk so they need to be able to work using their own initiative as they will be in the office as the only Import clerk on shift on some occasions over the weekend. ROLE:
Senior Air Import Operator BASIC SALARY: £36k to £40k

HOURS:

4 on 4 off day shift & itll be 12-hour shifts from  hrs ( with a 1 hour lunch break ). ROLE:
Managing the air Import process for clients from start to finish including customs clearance . Outstanding Customer Service Managing High Volume of air import shipments with minimum issue Assist customer with their Supply Chain Model Managing Information Flow between Systems Manage Origin Offices Pre-Alerts Origin management Customs Entries Transport Deliveries Internal / external communication Liaising with Customers through Email & telephone.

Skills required:

Must have at least 4 years Air Import and customs clearance experience - Essential If they have Cargowise and/or Sequoia experience, this would be an advantage. Must have experience of dealing with Import customs clearances Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays. Customer Service Able to process different types of customs entries Accuracy Able to handle multiple customers & clearances each day Knowledge of Cargowise & Sequoia an advantage Financial Awareness Able to work using their own initiative Manage customer issues and the ability to deal with minor issues, disputes, or complaints.
