Job Duties:
Provide support to students with special educational needs such as ASC, PMLD, SLD, and behaviours that challenge
Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) for students
Help students with personal care and mobility needs
Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required:
Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
Knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions for supporting students with special needs
Experience:
Experience working with special needs students in an educational setting
Knowledge and
Skills:
Understanding of ASC, SEND, PMLD, SLD, and behaviours that challenge
Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students with a range of special educational needs. The work may require physical activity and assisting students with personal care needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
