A warm, inclusive and community-focused primary school in Ealing is seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and providing a nurturing, structured learning environment.
About the Role- Teach a Year 2 mainstream class with mixed SEN needs
- Supported by two experienced Teaching Assistants who play an active role in interventions, behaviour support and classroom routines
- Deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Use creative strategies to support pupils' communication, emotional development and academic progress
- Work closely with the SENCO, leadership team and support staff to ensure personalised provision for each child
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a highly supportive setting
- Located in the borough of Ealing with excellent transport links
- Highly supportive and approachable senior leadership team
- Strong culture of collaboration and staff wellbeing
- Well-established SEN systems and inclusive ethos
- Positive, community-driven school environment with a focus on nurturing every child
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experience in KS1 (Year 2 experience desirable but not essential)
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs (SEN experience highly valued)
- A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
- Strong behaviour management and commitment to inclusive practice
- A team player who works well with TAs, leaders and parents
- Two dedicated Teaching Assistants in the class
- A caring, cohesive and well-led environment
- Supportive leadership with clear communication
- Opportunity for a long‑term or permanent role
