A friendly and inclusive Primary School in Acton is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis from March. The role will involve teaching within KS1, with the class currently in Year 2.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a short-term role within a supportive school with clear systems and a positive learning environment.

• Teaching within Key Stage 1
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Creating a nurturing, structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' progress, confidence and independence
• Working closely with colleagues and senior leaders

• Qualified KS1 teachers
• ECTs seeking additional classroom experience
• Teachers looking for a March to July maternity role
• Practitioners committed to inclusive, child‑centred teaching

• QTS (or working towards QTS as an ECT)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
