Role Overview
Teach West London is seeking a committed and inspiring Teaching School Hub Teacher Development Lead. This role offers scope for progression, supports the growth of the Hub as a Teaching School Hub and accredited ITT provider, and provides a platform to develop teachers and raise standards across schools.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of high‑quality professional development for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), ensuring excellent facilitation, strong engagement and statutory support across induction.
- Contribute to the delivery and quality assurance of Secondary Initial Teacher Training (ITT), including oversight of placements and bespoke support to schools, mentors and trainees.
- Support the recruitment of high‑quality trainees onto Teach West London's ITT programmes.
- Collaborate with the Head of Hub to sustain the Hub base at Ada Lovelace CofE High School and coordinate with partner schools.
- Conduct regular visits to partner schools to quality‑assure ITT and ECTP programme delivery and induction arrangements.
- Assist in the development and provision of quality assurance for the Early Career Teacher programme, ECTP and Appropriate Body strands.
- Successful experience supporting, developing or training teachers, ECTs and trainees.
- Confidence in analysing data, reporting accurately and using insight to drive improvement.
- Ability to build trusted professional relationships with schools, mentors, trainees and colleagues.
- Well‑organised, proactive, able to manage a varied workload with autonomy.
