SEN Learning Mentor – Primary School – Ealing

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a SEN Learning Mentor to provide focused support to children with special educational needs (SEN). This full-time position involves working closely with class teachers, SENCO, and parents to help children overcome learning challenges and reach their full potential both academically and socially. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to supporting their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with special educational needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop key skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs.
  • Work with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for the children both at school and at home.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages children to build confidence, social skills, and academic progress.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and the SEN team.
