Location: West Ealing
Hair & Beauty Teacher (Part-Time)
West London | September 2026 Start
Salary:
Up to £35,500 FTE (Unqualified Teacher) | Up to £47,000 FTE (Qualified Teacher)
Working Pattern: 0.5 – 0.8 FTE (approximately 2.5 to 4 days per week)
Create Education are working with a specialist education provider in West London seeking a passionate and engaging Hair & Beauty Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Key Stage 4 and Post-16 learners, helping young people develop practical vocational skills, industry knowledge, and recognised qualifications that will support their future careers.
We welcome applications from both qualified teachers and experienced Hair & Beauty professionals looking to transition into education. Candidates who do not currently hold QTS/QTLS but have relevant industry experience and an interest in gaining a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply.
The Role
• Deliver engaging Hair & Beauty lessons to KS4 and Post-16 learners.
• Support students in achieving vocational qualifications and industry-recognised accreditations.
• Plan and deliver practical and theory-based learning activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching and learning to meet the individual needs of students.
• Monitor progress, track achievement, and celebrate student success.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive educational outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience teaching Hair & Beauty or working within the Hair & Beauty industry.
• Knowledge of vocational qualifications such as VTCT, NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Passion for supporting young people to achieve their goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners.
• QTS/QTLS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with young people is advantageous.
