West London Provision (W13 Area)

Part-Time or Full-Time (0.5 – 1.0 FTE) | September Start
Are you a creative and passionate Computing Teacher with a love for coding, game design, and engaging young learners through technology?

A forward-thinking alternative provision in West London is seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding setting supporting learners across Key Stage 4 and Post-16, including vocational and alternative pathways.

This role is flexible, offering between 2.5 days to full time, making it suitable for both part-time and full-time applicants.

The Role
As a Computing Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging Computing lessons with a focus on coding and game creation
Support students across KS4 and Post-16 pathways
Help learners develop digital skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
Deliver vocational-style learning linked to real-world outcomes
Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
Support students working towards qualifications and accreditations
Work closely with pastoral staff to support engagement and progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience teaching Computing at secondary level
Has strong knowledge of coding (e.g. Python, Scratch, JavaScript, or similar)
Has experience or interest in game creation / game design
Holds QTS or QTLS (preferred)
Can engage learners who may have SEMH or additional learning needs
Has strong behaviour management skills
Is creative, adaptable, and passionate about digital learning
Enjoys working in an alternative, vocational learning environment
