The Role:

Curriculum Support in Mathematics and Science

As a Maths or Science Graduate Curriculum Support Assistant in Ealing, you will work alongside experienced teachers to support students through targeted intervention, small group work and one-to-one academic mentoring.

Depending on your academic background, you will support either the Mathematics or Science department, helping students improve attainment, confidence and subject knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Mathematics or Science.
Support students through one-to-one and small group academic mentoring.
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom learning.
Help students prepare for GCSE examinations.
Monitor student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
Encourage positive learning behaviours and academic resilience.
Support learners of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL students.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Candidate Requirements:
Curriculum Support in Mathematics and Science

A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related STEM subject.
Strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and supporting young people.
Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or school experience is desirable but not essential.
