About the Role

An outstanding secondary school in Ealing seeks a dedicated Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join its Science department.

The role supports students across KS3 and KS4, provides GCSE intervention, leads small‑group tuition, assists with lesson preparation and practical activities, monitors progress, and builds a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support students during Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Deliver GCSE Science intervention sessions on a 1:1 basis
Lead small‑group tuition sessions to improve attainment and confidence
Support students preparing for GCSE examinations
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and practical Science activities
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Potentially support future T Level Science provision (details to be confirmed)

Qualifications

Previous experience working with students, tutoring, mentoring or coaching is advantageous but not essential.
