Teach Plus is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with physical needs, cognitive and speech and language needs. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child's academic, social, and emotional development while working alongside a highly supportive team.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping a pupil access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position would suit a compassionate, patient and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
Job Responsibilities- Support a pupil with physical needs, cognitive and speech and language needs on a one-to-one base, support with personal care would be required for this role
- Implement individual education plans and targeted intervention programmes to support pupil progress
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet pupils' individual needs
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
- Promote independence and confidence within the classroom environment
- Adapt learning resources and activities to ensure all pupils can participate and achieve success
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
