Aspiring English Teacher - Permanent
Permanent contract starting September 2024 with salary ranging from £24,000 to £36,500. Begin as a Secondary Teaching Assistant across KS3‑5 focusing on raising attainment through GCSE and A Level interventions, with progression to a salaried Teacher Training (Schools Direct) programme from September 2025.
Job Responsibilities- Work across Key Stages 3–5, supporting students in raising attainment
- Deliver GCSE and A Level interventions
- Assist as a Secondary Teaching Assistant (subject‑dependent)
- Enroll in the Aspiring Secondary Teacher Programme (Schools Direct) from September 2025
- First‑class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university
- Strong A Levels and GCSEs across the board
- Confidence and knowledge of the GCSE and A Level curriculum
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Commitment and ambition to successfully complete teacher training
- Graded "Outstanding" in the latest Ofsted report
- Leading training school in Ealing, accepting only 10 graduates a year
- Extensive CPD opportunities throughout
- Salaried Schools Direct opportunity starting September 2025
