SEN Teaching Assistant / Graduate Teaching Assistant

Our outstanding Secondary School located in the London Borough of Ealing is looking to secure a SEND Teaching Assistant / Graduate Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026.

The School

We are an outstanding, non‑selective secondary school that has consistently achieved excellent exam results, placing us in the top 5% for student progress. Many of our pupils go on to study at Russell King universities.

We possess fantastic modern facilities, extensive IT resources, large outdoor playing fields and one of the largest post‑16 centres in London.

Responsibilities

The school is looking for a number of ambitious SEND Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible and join our growing team. Successful candidates will be expected to run small‑group activities and 1:1 intervention as required.

The main duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Class Teacher to use your own initiative to enthuse students’ learning.
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
  • Working alongside the other LSAs in maintaining a stimulating Resource Base.
  • Discussing observations of students’ work and assisting the teacher in planning for the development of their learning.
  • Keeping records of students’ learning and progress and using this information alongside the teacher to recognise achievement and to assist students in setting targets for further improvement.
