ASD Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive school in Northolt is looking for a full-time ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), working 1:1 and in small groups to help them access learning, develop communication and social skills, and build confidence and independence.

The school has high expectations for pupils while placing kindness, respect and positive relationships at the heart of school life. You will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide consistent, individualised support.

The successful ASD Teaching Assistant will have previous experience supporting children or young people with autism or other special educational needs. You should be patient, proactive and confident adapting your approach to individual pupils.
