We are working with a supportive specialist school in Ealing looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team.
The RoleYou will be teaching pupils with a range of SEND and complex needs
, creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Planning and delivering differentiated and engaging lessons
- Supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs
- Adapting lessons and resources to individual needs
- Managing behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
- Tracking pupil progress and contributing to EHCP targets
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and external professionals
- Promoting independence, communication and confidence
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching within SEND / specialist settings
- Experience supporting pupils with complex needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Patient, enthusiastic and pupil-focused approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must hold both Child & Adult DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
