As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. You may provide general classroom support, assist with small-group activities or deliver one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Helping maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
• Adapting quickly to different school environments and classroom routines.

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Passionate about education and supporting children's development.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and enthusiastic.
• Confident communicating with pupils, teachers and school staff.
• Patient, caring and able to build positive relationships.
• Proactive and comfortable working in different classroom settings.
• Experienced in a school or childcare environment, or keen to begin a career in education.
• Previous Teaching Assistant experience and relevant qualifications are desirable, although requirements may vary depending on the school and placement.
