BIM Engineer

Location: Acton

Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for a 3D BIM CAD technician.

Hybrid from home and the Office in Acton.

This role is Outside IR35 and paid Ltd

Successful candidates will have experience of the preparation 3D models and subsequent drawing output, as well as model collaboration, clash detection,and ensuring CAD/BIM Standards are adhered to.

Experience modelling on cladding and Facades is ideal.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced 3D CAD Technician to work on a number of projects for a Privately owned contractor

Requirements

* Proven IFC files experience, Revit, Innventor and Solidworks

* Extensive experience of co-ordinating multi-disciplinary projects

* Able to produce a consistently high quality of CAD drawings

* Able to work without supervision

* Able to self check & correct work

* Compliance with CAD/BIM standards & Quality Assurance

* Have a thorough understanding of BIM and its direction within the industry

* Able to write, implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans

* Practical experience of reinforced concrete and steel details

* Good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure

* Experience with Microstation and non-Autodesk parametric modelling software is desirable but will not hinder suitable applicants
